Disturbing the Peace

What that phrase means varies from person to person depending on what he/she finds entertaining and/or disturbing.

The board has received many complaints; e.g. the use of fireworks, the reckless ATV’s, excessive noise caused by people during late hours, etc.

If you experience this frustration pick up the phone and call the Poweshiek County Sheriff (641) 623-5679, or 911 if you deem it an emergency. This sends the message that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

Let’s keep Holiday Lake a fun place for all!

We have assembled 22 fish structures. 16 have been placed in the main lake by the no wake buoys, 2 in Andy's pond, 2 in Bozo pond and 2 in Pete's pond.

Please do not dive in these areas.

The assembly and placement crew included Wayne Barnett, Larry Ehrig, Jack Hoffman, Dick Jensen, Kris Kempf and Duane Selken.
